Blessings and Prayers for the Journey

An Old Celtic Blessing
May the blessing of light be on you—
light without and light within.
May the blessed sunlight shine on you
and warm your heart
till it glows like a great peat fire.

This shall be the prayer to guide my journey, inspire my heart and help me move inward.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.

For every storm, a rainbow,

For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

Beginnings

The Beginning

It has begun. I have booked the first part of my Celtic Sacred Pilgrimage. England here I come. Walking towards Avalon, kept popping up in my head yesterday. To go inward and find my unique way of being on a pilgrimage will be part of my journey. This blog will be my way of keeping the people I care about in touch with the unfoldment of my journey.
